Can I get a WITNESS? – ADOPTED
Witness has found a home. Thanks for everyone’s interest and support!
Check out this awesome BC boy. He just came up for rescue tonight – a bit too much for his owner to handle.
When I first met him, he had never caught a frisbee before…but BOY did he love his toys. I saw potential and invited them over – did one freestyle training session with Witness and after an hour of play (yes he was still going after an hour!) he was catching most discs and taking sick air. He got 8-10 feet a couple of times on just a straight catch – no vaulting! Also threw for him at a D/A contest for fun and he did awesome for never practicing at all!
His original home was an elderly couple – he hasn’t had any wear and tear on his body at all and has the perfect super-thin heavy-muscled rear that you want in a disc dog. Here’s the part that may make it hard for him to find the perfect freestyle home he deserves…ready for the kicker?
He just turned 6.
Unfortunately, most awesome handlers don’t want to start with a dog at 6. To contrast this I’ll express – he’s not really a starter dog. He’s got so much natural talent, you could have him doing anything in a month or less. Here’s his resume…

Very cute Jason!! You know I love Border collies. I think my next dog will be a border collie just love the drive and fun. Goldens are great and they are VERY consistent winning alot lets just say I beat a world team member at a show once and took her first place ribbon. So that will show you this sport is not all about what kind of dog you have but the relationship.
