Holy Hairball is there a Dog in that Pile?

You know exactly what i mean don’t you?  You ever furminate your dog and stare in amazement at the amount of fur matter that is generated? And it’s really great on windy days as tufts of hair go flying through the neighborhood like an aerial squirrel attack.

And it never fails, no matter how much hair comes off there is always more.  Dogs have an endless supply of hair. I think they are genetically coded to reproduce fur at a rate of 2 to 1 for every hair they lose they generate 2.  That’s the only explanation I have for the never ending shedding sessions.

Every dog sheds, except for hairless dogs of course, and some dogs shed more than others.  Dogs shed according to the seasons.  Often indoor dogs don’t have access to the weather channel and as such they might shed all year long.  Just in case I guess.  Sounds like dogs have the boy scout gene.  Be Prepared.

Don’t feel guilty if your dog is unable to watch the weather channel.  Dog experts claim dogs are unable to understand images on a tv screen anyway.  Though they may react to sound and movement.

I join the thousands of biased animal owners who disagree based on unscientific observation.  Lilli will often stare at the TV during wildlife shows even though the speakers are set to the sides.  I’m not as certain as some people are that dogs can watch TV.  I just think my dog deserves the benefit of the doubt.

The furminator is the best tool we found for dehairing Lilli and Sasha. And since we’ll be adding a red merle to the family just as soon as we can, we’ll be purchasing a 2nd Furminator Holy Hairball is there a Dog in that Pile?.
