The DragonDogs
The DragonDogs Family currently Flying DragonLilli and Navrock’s Moo-Kuna Kai, Thornapple’s Fire Dragon Leilani and Moxie live with their Handlers Jason and Andrea Rigler in North Palm Beach, Florida.
An avid ultimate player, Jason had been dreaming of a disc dog since he was a little boy in Stewartstown, Pennsylvania. His wife surprised him in 2007 with Lilli, a blue merle Australian shepherd from Coastal Aussies.
Since that day their lives have never been the same, as Lilli has overwhelmed them with love and a passion for the disc. A budding frisbee star and agility competitor, Lilli keeps her people searching for the best possible handling methods for the safety and fullest expression of both Lilli and the new addititons to the Dragondog pack.
Leila is a red merle aussie from Thornapple Aussies in Michigan. A conformation dog soon to be agility and disc princess, Leila shows early signs of great drive for the disc. The puppy training at Susan Garrett’s puppy camp followed by her skills camp was invaluable for the growth of the DragonDogs family.
Kai is a black tri Aussie with brindled tan points from Navrock Australian Shepherds. Kai was rehomed with us to develop her drive and love for work!
Moxie is the latest addition to the Dragondogs pack and our first ACD – Australian Cattle Dog – Blue Heeler. She’s gotta be cool if she’s got that many names! Moxie was named for her attitude and intense drive. Nothing will stop her from getting to her frisbee! She’s a natural disc dog and came to us ready to tear it up – and she had no previous disc dog training. I always said it would be cool if someone dropped of a ready-made frisbeast at our door – and Look! We got one!
Andrea’s drive for the best training methods and health practices for the dogs has her studying and networking throughout the dog enthusiast community.
